Q. What is CarePass?

CarePass is a payment-agency service: pay bills you used to pay only in cash — rent, insurance, maintenance fees — by credit card, and CarePass transfers the money to the recipient''s account on your behalf.

Q. How long does review take?

We notify you of the review result via KakaoTalk within 5 minutes of registration. If documents need supplementing, a request is sent.

Q. How do I claim a tax deduction?

Individual users
· Automatically reflected in your credit-card income deduction by default
· Optionally, you may choose the rent tax credit

Business users
· VAT input-tax deduction on the service fee
· Or expense it for comprehensive income tax

Q. What can I pay?

You can pay 7 types of cash payments: rent, insurance, brokerage fees, maintenance fees, lease, education, and other cash payments.

Q. When are scheduled transfers made?

They run in a batch at 10 AM on the scheduled date, and we notify you via KakaoTalk on completion.

Q. How much does it cost?

No per-payment fee — just a monthly subscription. Basic KRW 3,000 (monthly limit KRW 300,000), Premium KRW 10,000 (monthly limit KRW 1,000,000). (VAT excluded)

Q. What happens if a subscription payment fails?

It automatically retries once the next day (2 attempts total); on final failure the account is automatically closed.

Q. When is the limit renewed?

It renews monthly based on your signup date. You can change your limit (plan) once a month; the fee is prorated on change.

Q. Can I change my plan anytime?

You can change your plan once a month; the difference is prorated and reflected in the next month''s billing.

Q. Do I get a refund if I close my account?

On close, the remaining period is refunded pro rata. Your recurring-payment key is revoked immediately.

Q. When is the refund paid after closing?

It is deposited to your registered account within 2–3 business days of the closing date. The current month''s fee is prorated and deducted.

Q. What is benefit support?

For harm such as rent fraud or lapsed insurance, up to KRW 1,000,000 is supported once per identity holder after review.

Q. How long is my personal data kept?

It is kept for 6 months after closing (transaction records subject to legal retention, for 5 years), then destroyed.
